Each year, we gather at St. Mary’s Cemetery to celebrate the lives of loved ones who have died. This outdoor Mass is a special time for us to come together in our shared grief to mourn our loved ones. St. Mary’s Annual Mass for the Faithful Departed offers families who have lost loved ones a great source of spiritual strength. The Mass provides an opportunity to intercede for those who have passed away and are waiting for that blessed moment to be with God. The feeling of the Mass is the feeling of family. Even in grief, we are present to one another as well as in prayer for one another. It is truly a communal celebration and people linger after the liturgy to share their lives and stories with each other.
