July 1, 2012, Konstanty and Josie Jackiewicz celebrated their 60th anniversary of wedded bliss. The two are forever imbedded in our church’s history because it was here, in our Parish that they were wed on Jun 28th 1952.

A truly amazing feat has been accomplished by Konstanty and Josie, for they have not only been faithful to each other for years on end, but to our church as well.
The anniversary Mass brings together families and friends to witness something that seems increasingly rare these days: a marriage spanning six decades, successfully weathering the difficult test of time.
The couple, who together have witnessed major world events, raised children and participated in church activities for more than six decades, gave encouragement to those currently married as well as to the youngsters present who seemed to appreciate, even at a young age, the extraordinary feat of such a long commitment.
After Mass, there was a beautiful reception, where pastor, Rev. T. Czelen and parish members congratulated the couple.
