You will notice some changes in our church.  Limiting where you sit is in response to more stringent restrictions the province has placed on gatherings.  This regulation came into effect April28.  Part of these restrictions indicate only one person should use the lectern and microphone – this is why I am not addressing you as I would be normally. This RED caution further mandates, more importantly, the following:

Wearing masks is mandatory

Maintaining 6’ distances from others you do not live with

Religious gatherings are to be limited to 10 persons.  We ask that you comply with the mask wearing and distancing for two reasons:
1. First and foremost, we do not want any of our parishioners to become ill – we know that no one is immune to contracting this virus, and we want to safe guard each other while here in our church to prevent spreading or catching the decease
2. The province has fined churches for not complying to the regulation. We certainly do not have any surplus funds to pay any fines we could easily avoid.
These restrictions will be in effect until further notice.  Accordingly, father will continue not distributing communion. There will be no exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.  We will also not serve coffee following the Mass.
Thank you for your understanding through this challenging time, and we look forward to seeing you all in our church, safely in health; in worship together.

Best regards, on behalf of your Parish Committee

Ted Maciurzynski, Chairman
